With its deep water frontage, Fells Point invited international trade to
its many wharves. Three historic warehouses remain on the Point
southeast of Thames St. All have been adapted for contemporary use.
Belt's Wharf, built in 1877, was home port for the C. Morton Steward
coffee fleet. now it is home port for condo dwellers.
