     Ed Amrhein and I removed the damaged bench seat from 1050 and replaced it with a temporary seat made of plywood and 1x4's. This bench seat is about 19 feet long and 18 inches wide. We took the original seat up to the 22nd street shop where the broken pieces will be repaired or replaced.

     This seat has been repaired many times before and a significant portion of the seat wood framing is not original. It also appears that the fabric covering is also the second or maybe third that has been on the frame.

     Rick Wiliams and Dan Lawrence completed the installation of the new shelving in the Dispatcher's office. Mark Hurley, Carl Merson and Ray Cannon continued to work on "G" scale trolley and now have it functional. Next time you stop down and the Gift shop is open you should see a streetcar running from the front of the lobby to the back of the gift shop area.

     Paul Ritterhoff and I completed the wiring of 6119's heater controller. The temperature was just right for testing, just a little colder than the thermostat, but not so cold that the heater could not quickly heat the car up to temperature. The thermostat is the fixed variety and there is no easy may to adjust it for testing.

     Rick Obbink was out at 22nd Street shop researching about replacement parts for some of the machines.

     John O'Neil was Dispatcher with John Diefenbach, Fred Schneider and Mel Boteler as crew. In addition to the streetcars, an antique bus was also on display.
