S aturday (1/20)

     The track department (Ed Amrhein, Rick Obbink, Chris Howell,Paul, Gene Carson and Chris) was busy at work, removing the remains of 11 ties and inserting new ones in their place. The ties were behind the 22nd. Street shops in a tight place, so spiking the ties will have to wait for a later time.

     Sunday (1/21)

     This was the first real snow we had this year so the crewwas down at the museum early to clean the platforms, walkways and track. After the area around the Visitor's Center and Car House were cleared, the crew went out on Car 6119 to open then line up through the Highway Yard and 28thstreet loop. Ed Amrhein, Josh Lepman, Chris Howell, ? and myself all helped.

     Chris Howell was Dispatcher with John Diefenbach as crew.
