Beyond Free Trade and Sailors' Rights:
The Second National War of 1812 Symposium
Saturday, October 10, 1998

     A full day's symposium, 9:00 AM to 4:30 P.M., devoted to the study of the War of 1812 and its era will be held at the University of Maryland's Davidge Hall, Greene and Lombard Streets in downtown Baltimore.

Talks will cover:

    Lunch time rountables on various topics in the adjoining atrium of the Samuel D. Harris National Museum of Dentistry.

     This conference is sponsored by the War of 1812 Consortium, Inc., the National Museum of Dentistry, and the Chesapeake Flotilla Project.

     Registration of $35.00 includes admission to symposium, the Museum of Dentistry, and the Maryland Historical Society and post-conference tours of nearby cemeteries containing the graves of War of 1812 heroes and Edgar Allan Poe.
